Bradley Cup

The 2010 Bradley Cup was won by Dereham who defeated Fakenham in the Final. Fakenham had beaten Bradenham whilst Dereham defeated Mundford to reach the Final.

The 2011 opener turned out to be a cracker with Fakenham winning in the last over mainly due to an outstanding knock from ex-Bradenham player Luke Findlay. Dereham set an impressive 156 from their 20 overs and this looked a competitive target until Findlay paced his innings to perfection.

In the other match, Bradenham hosted Mundford on Tues 14 June and secured a relatively comfortable victory.

Bradenham Won the 2011 Bradley Cup in a hugely entertaining contest. Fakenham batted1st and set a daunting total of 168. A solid start, anchored by Kevin Stagles, saw the hosts make steady progress. At the halfway stage they were well behind the required run rate, but the arrival of lewis Denmark to the crease was to quickly change this trend as he attacked the Fakenham bowling card and when he was joined by man of the match Kevin Blakey an unlikely win was back on the agenda. Blakey completed the victory with 2 huge 6s and with 7 balls to spare to delight the home spectators and his fellow team members.

Fisher Cup

Bradenham beat Hillington and Fakenham to set up a final against local rivals, Mattishall. Batting 1st the inings got off to a flyer with the 1st 2 balls dispatched for boundaries by Rob Thurley. 2 early wickets brought Lewis Denmark and Mark Hunter to the crease and they atttacked the Mattishall bowling with an aggressive onslaught, closing the innings on an impressive 191 for 2 with both players undefeated on 81. The Mattishall reply began in the same fashion as Bradenhams but with the 2nd over a wicket maiden bowled by Ash Stolworthy the target looked that much more daunting. Despite 48 from the impressive Chetwood and an aggressive knock from Tom Spalding a final total of 148 ensured that Bradenham added the Fisher Cup to their previous acquisition of the Bradley Cup, the 1st time the club has won both competitions in the same season. The man of the match award was shared by Denmark and Hunter. This was an excellent all round team performance as the attitude and commitment of all the players was highly visible.

Mundford Cup

Bradenham lost to Saham Toney in the 1st round of this competition
